CT MODALITY 2IC

Committed to providing knowledgeable and professional imaging services that support the best possible outcomes for patients, we are currently looking for a CT Modality 2IC to support the leadership of our CT team. The CT Modality 2IC will value and understand the importance of driving a customer service culture underpinned by kindness, empathy, and respect.

Reporting to the CT Modality Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting in the role of CT Modality Manager in their absence.
  • Assisting in the supervision and coordination of CT team members and participating in planning activities.
  • Actively participating in the development, implementation and monitoring of protocols and quality control measures.
  • Developing and implementing training and upskilling activities and materials.
  • Performing examinations throughout our clinics, in accordance with RSA protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Monitoring equipment performance and proactively managing maintenance and resolution of faults and suppliers.
  • Contributing to ensuring CT compliance requirements are maintained across the modality.

Along with a commitment to high-quality work, exceptional communication, and teamwork, to be successful in this role you will need:

  • Bachelor of Radiation Science (Medical Imaging).
  • EPA SA Radiation Licence.
  • Registration with AHPRA or the Medical Radiation Practice Board.
  • Proven management experience at a senior level, demonstrating proactive leadership.
  • Ability to teach, coach and mentor staff.
  • Strong relationship building and stakeholder management capability.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to perform some out of hour’s work, on a rostered or on-call basis.
  • To maintain accreditation by attendance at seminars and lectures.

CLINICAL INFORMATICS OFFICER

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Clinical Informatics team. This role will be working on exciting and complex clinical informatics projects and providing clinical application support in a secure, growing and friendly team environment.

The role will see you:

  • Working closely with the Head of IT and a diverse team of Clinical Informatics practitioners to ensure continuity of service and a high-level of customer service.
  • Provide an escalation point for troubleshooting issues with our clinical informatics platforms.
  • Participate in ongoing administration and system management activities, new clinical software evaluations and informatics integration projects.
  • Working closely with radiologists to improve efficiency and resolve any workflow integration issues.
  • Training radiologists, clinicians and technical staff in aspects of clinical software applications.
  • Facilitating clinical research trials, developing protocols and image exchange.
  • Working with medical equipment vendors to configure new imaging modalities.

The ideal candidate will have clinical experience, excellent leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to contribute to the company's overall growth and success. You will also bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Medical Imaging
  • CT, MR or NM experience as a radiographer
  • Specific experience with PACS, EMR and Hospital information systems will be well regarded
  • Strong interpersonal skills to develop collaborative working relationships with counterparts in public and private healthcare organizations.
  • Knowledge of data management principles, standards, privacy and governance.
  • A willingness to participate in a rotating on-call roster for after-hours escalations, including the flexibility to travel interstate and work out of hours if needed.

RADIOLOGIST - DARWIN

Join us as we expand our services into Darwin, NT!

Radiology SA (RSA) is a long-standing, privately owned, Adelaide-based radiology practice, run by radiologists and nuclear medicine specialists for the medical community. With a long history in independent private radiology and public hospital contracts, the Practice currently has a significant footprint in the Adelaide metropolitan area, as well as supplying on-site radiology services to Lyell McEwin and Cairns hospitals. Commencing in October 2023, RSA will also be providing on-site reporting and interventional radiology services to the Royal Darwin Hospital in the Northern Territory.

We are seeking expressions of interest for full-time / part-time and locum positions in Darwin. While working in Darwin you will be working with at least 2 other RSA radiologists and have the full support of the RSA tele-reporting team with a broad range of experience and expertise. The environment is social and varied, and If desired, MDT participation and Registrar teaching will be welcome and encouraged.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • A commitment to high-quality work, strong work ethic, and the ability to effectively communicate as part of the local and broader RSA team.
